Condition: Gebraucht, Condition: I have listed this as used, but the watch looks almost brand new as can be seen in the photos. (Original Included)# International sales only via eBay GSP please. I have included images of the brochure in the listing, to give a better explanation of the watch functions. This made it the WORLDS FIRST watch with 2-Way data communication! RC-4000 series watches were so useful at the time that NASA gave the plastic version (RC4500) to the astronauts on the Space Shuttle "Atlantis" on Mission STS-43 in 1991, which allowed them to connect to a Macintosh computer and communicate with Mission Control via a Fax Modem, so they could send information and reminder alarms. A unique feature of these watches is that they could also transmit their data back to the computer using the optional RC-4200 adaptor (Included) so you could update your computer after editing. The original software was designed to run on older computers of the day, but it may be possible to run it on newer machines with an emulator and USB to Serial converter. The Wrist Terminal Data Manager program allows you to upload and edit your data. There is a small RS-232C serial port on the left side of the watch and a plastic clip attaches to the watch to allow a cable to be plugged into the serial port on the computer. With a Cable & Software Set, it could communicate with popular computers of the day like the IBM PC, Commodore 64, Apple II, II+, IIc and IIe and in the UK the BBC-B and Sinclair Spectrum using a cable and software (only listed cable & software included). ![]() you could have an alarm category with 79 alarms each with a 24 character message). You can input and edit data directly on the watch, using the buttons and a cursor. However it can be re-programmed from software and increased up to 12 categories or reduced to 1 category within the maximum of 80 "pages" in total. The default was 5 categories, each with 15 "pages" of data (3 x Memo, 1 x Schedule Alarm and 1 x Weekly Alarm). The watch has 2k of storage which held 80 “pages” of 2 x 12 characters and can be divided into sub-categories each with their own label. The display is a three-line dot-matrix display with 2 lines for data and one larger line for the time. ![]() SEIKO RC-4000 PC Datagraph Watch A VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY to own a IMMACULATE boxed set in SUPERB CONDITION.!
